Calling all little gardeners! It’s time to get growing with our fun Goulds Sunflower Competition 🌞
From Monday 6th April to Monday 4th May 2026, pop into store and collect your FREE sunflower seeds, then take them home and see just how tall and bright your sunflower can grow!
How to enter:
Grow your sunflower at home and send us a photo to Marketing@gouldsstores.co.uk by 23rd August 2026
Prizes:
• £100 Goulds Gift Card for the tallest sunflower
• £25 Goulds Gift Card for the biggest sunflower head
Perfect for getting children outdoors, learning how things grow, and having a little friendly competition along the way.
The winner will be announced in August 2026 – we can’t wait to see your sunflowers!

Hanging Basket Workshop
Join Sue from our plant area for an informative, hands-on workshop and create your own beautiful summer hanging basket to take home.
Sue will guide you through planting up your basket, sharing helpful tips on plant choices and how to keep your display looking its best throughout the season. It’s a relaxed and enjoyable session, perfect for adding a splash of colour to your garden.
Your ticket includes a 14” hanging basket, a selection of bedding plants, compost and feed, plus a tea or coffee from the Dorset Kitchen to enjoy during your visit.

Time: 2.30pm – 4pm
Tickets: £29.99 per person

Terms & Conditions
• Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
• Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by us.
• If you are unable to attend, your place may be transferred to another person with prior notice.
• The workshop will take place at Goulds Garden Centre, Weymouth.
• Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time to ensure a prompt start.
• All materials needed to create your hanging basket are included in the ticket price.
• A tea or coffee from the Dorset Kitchen is included.
