What do we mean by High street retailer?

What we mean is any retailer that is approved as an official seller by the brand owner and that has a physical or internet presence that is based in the UK.

What will we match?

We will match the price of the item plus any delivery charge. The item must be an exact like for like item and must be instock at the time of the price match.

How Do I Claim a Price Match?

You will need to:

Either – Come into Store with the details of the alternative retailer with the same items at a cheaper price.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing friendly, helpful service and engaging with customers
  • Assisting customers with purchases, including larger or heavier items
  • Unloading deliveries and supporting stock organisation
  • Working across our Home, Seasonal and Leisure departments
  • Maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and shop presentation
  • Supporting the team in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

We’re looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our busy and expanding team within our Gardening Department at our family-run garden centre.

  • Providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service
  • Assisting customers with purchases across compost, fertilisers, tools, pots and all gardening essentials
  • Unloading deliveries and replenishing stock
  • Maintaining high standards of department presentation and merchandising
  • Offering advice and guidance to customers (full training will be provided)
  • Supporting the team in a busy, hands-on environment

What we’re looking for:

  • A positive, approachable person who enjoys interacting with customers
  • A genuine passion for excellent customer service
  • An interest in gardening, with a willingness to learn and advise customers
  • Reliable, hardworking and a strong team player
